Our story
Founded in Rochester by John Cufley and Robert Taylor, Contact Attachments first made its mark designing and building conveyor palletising systems, winning contracts with Cadbury's, Tate & Lyle, Johnson Paints, Tayto Crisps and Maynards.
At the same time we produced one-off forklift attachments for local businesses. From that demand we developed the UK's first range of mechanical forklift attachments.
We invested in our own in-house manufacturing and moved to a larger site in Newtown, Mid Wales, where design, manufacturing and testing are handled by a skilled team, many of whom have been with us for decades.
